These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the XIII International Workshop on Sap Flow (IWSF 2026), organised under the auspices of the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS). By registering for or attending the workshop, you agree to be bound by these terms.
All registrations are subject to availability. Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. The organising committee reserves the right to decline any registration at its discretion. It is the responsibility of the registrant to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.
All fees are quoted in US Dollars (USD). Payment must be made in full prior to the workshop. The organising committee accepts bank transfer (EFT) and online payment via PayFast. Registrations will not be confirmed until payment has been received and verified.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to tharagac@arc.agric.za. Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the organising committee. The organisers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the event due to circumstances beyond their control, in which case registered participants will be notified and offered an alternative arrangement.
The organising committee reserves the right to modify the workshop programme, speakers, and schedule without prior notice. Every effort will be made to communicate changes to registered participants in a timely manner.
The ISHS, the organising committee, and affiliated institutions accept no liability for any loss, injury, damage, or expense that participants may suffer in connection with the workshop. Participants are advised to arrange their own travel and medical insurance.
The workshop may be photographed and recorded for archival, promotional, and academic purposes. By attending, participants consent to the use of their likeness in such materials. If you have objections, please notify the organising committee in advance.
All participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. The organising committee reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed disruptive or inappropriate, without refund.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from participation in IWSF 2026 shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
